  • No Felony Convictions
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Pass Pre-Employment Physical and Background Check
  • IDPH licensed EMT-P with ability to test into Good Samaritan EMS System
  • Obtain a valid Illinois motor vehicle operator’s Class B—Non CDL within six months of employment (for Firefighter/Paramedic candidates only)​
  • ​Obtain a valid motor vehicle operator’s Class C within six months of employment (for Single Role Paramedics only)
  • 12 & 24 hours shifts available
​JOB DESCRIPTION
Part-time Firefighter/Paramedic
Main responsibility is the protection of life and property through learned procedures and responses. Work involves performing firefighting duties, as instructed, and to         respond to medical emergencies and provide pre-hospital advanced life-support care to patients, make medical   decisions based on standing orders, protocols and direction of medical control.  Along with responding to emergency calls, is responsible for basic  vehicle equipment and station maintenance.

Single Role Paramedic
